Opzet Walking Dinner
Als gast: Je gaat naar drie huizen in de wijk waar je gaat genieten van een voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht met wisselende buurtgenoten. Tussen de gangen door loop of fiets je naar de volgende locatie. De start en de afsluiting zal zijn op het Trefcentrum Duinoord op het Sweelinckplein. We starten om 17.30 uur en hebben om 22.15 uur een afsluitende borrel.
Als kok: Haute Cuisine is niet nodig. Het gaat om plezier in koken, wijkgenoten leren kennen en het ontvangen van gasten in je huis. Elke kok stelt zijn eigen menu samen en doet daarvoor de inkopen. Je ontvangt 3 keer een wisselend gezelschap; voor het eerste gezelschap maak je een voorgerecht, het tweede een hoofdgerecht en het derde een nagerecht. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om 4 of 6 gasten te ontvangen.
Kosten
Gasten betalen € 25,- voor de drie-gangen maaltijd.
De koks ontvangen € 25,- per complete maaltijd (voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht inclusief drank). De kosten voor de start, afsluiting, promotie en bedankje voor de koks worden gesponsord door het Bewonersoverleg (dit bedraagt €5,- per persoon).

17.30 -18.15 uur – Aftrap op Trefcentrum – Gasten krijgen hun persoonlijk Walking Dinner route
18.30-19.30 uur – voorgerecht op eerste locatie
19.45-21.00 uur – hoofdgerecht op tweede locatie
21.15-22.00 uur- nagerecht op derde locatie ,
22.15 – …… uur afsluitende borrel in Trefcentrum met gasten en koks

FAQ’s
- Wie kunnen er allemaal meedoen?
Alle bewoners van Duinoord van 18 jaar en ouder kunnen deelnemen. - We geven ons op als stel, blijven we dan bij elkaar tijdens de 3-gangen?
Je kunt je als stel aanmelden en kiezen om bij elkaar te blijven of juist niet. Je ziet elkaar sowieso weer bij de afsluitende borrel. - Hoe wordt omgegaan met allergieën?
Je kunt dit bij de aanmelding doorgeven. Dit wordt vervolgens met de koks en hun kookvoorkeuren afgestemd. - Kan ik ook een kok helpen?
Ja graag, je kunt bijvoorbeeld ook samen met een buurman/vrouw opgeven om te koken. - Is er voldoende tijd om van locatie te wisselen?
Er is 15 minuten tussen de gangen om te wisselen van locatie. In de persoonlijk route wordt met deze tijd rekening gehouden en zie je waar je naar toe moet. - Is er meer informatie voor koks beschikbaar?
Er komt een informatiesessie voor de koks. Je kunt hier bij zijn als kok als je daar behoefte aan hebt. Bij eerdere edities was dit handig om bijvoorbeeld wat tips en de logistiek door te spreken. - Wanneer krijg ik te horen waar ik heenga en met wie?
Als gast krijg je bij de start je persoonlijke route en een overzicht van de verschillende tafelgenoten en koks. - Wanneer dien ik te betalen?
Na bevestiging van de inschrijving vanuit de organisatie dien je direct te betalen. Pas na betaling is de aanmelding definitief. - Hoeveel plekken zijn er beschikbaar?
Dit is afhankelijk van het aantal koks wat zich aanmeldt. - Is het mogelijk te annuleren?
Omdat de koks rekening houden met hun organisatie en inkoop heeft het de voorkeur dat je je plek overdraagt aan een andere buurtgenoot. Mocht je na inschrijving echt niet kunnen, meld dit dan tijdig bij de organisatie.
Walking Dinner Set Up
As a guest: You will go to three houses in the neighborhood where you will enjoy a starter, main and dessert with varying neighbors. Between courses, you will walk or bike to the next location. The start and finish will be at the Trefcentrum Duinoord on Sweelinckplein. We start at 5:30 pm and have a closing drink at 10:15 pm.
As a cook: Haute Cuisine is not necessary. It’s about enjoying cooking, getting to know your neighbors and welcoming guests into your home. Each cook creates their own menu and does the shopping for it. You host 3 different groups of people; for the first group you make a starter, for the second, a main course, and for the third group, a dessert. You can choose to host 4 or 6 guests.
Costs
Guests pay € 25,- for a three-course meal.
The cooks receive € 25,- per complete meal (starter, main and dessert, including drinks).
The costs for the start and closing, the promotion and thank you gifts for the cooks are sponsored by the Community Board (this is €5,-per person).
When you register as a guest, you’ll pay your contribution to the Bewonersoverleg (Community Board), who will then take care of paying the cooks.

- Who can take part?
All residents of Duinoord who are 18 years or older can participate. - We are registering as a couple, do we stay together during all 3-courses?
As a couple, you can choose to stay together or not. You’ll see each other in any case at the closing reception. - How will you handle food allergies?
You can register all food allergies in the registration. This is then coordinated with the cooks and their cooking preferences. - Can I help a cook?
Yes, please. For example, you can register to be a cook with your neighbor.. - Is there enough time to get to the next location between courses?
There are 15 minutes planned to get to the next location. In the personal route, this is taken into consideration and you can see where you need to go next. - Where can I find more information about being a cook?
There will be an information session for cooks. You can attend this if you feel the need. At previous sessions, this proved helpful to go over some tips and logistics. - When will I be told where I am going and with whom?
As a guest, you are given your personal itinerary at the start, plus an overview of the various dinner companions and cooks. - When should I pay?
After you receive registration confirmation, you should pay right away. Your registration becomes definite once payment is made. - How many places are available?
This depends on the number of cooks that register. - Is it possible to cancel?
Because the cooks plan and shop for a specific number of people, its preferred that you give your place to a neighbor. If you’ve registered and really can’t make it, let the organization know as soon as possible.
